Who We Are
Anil
Anil holds a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Hofstra University.
A native English speaker, Anil has been based in Hong Kong for over 17 years and has experience working with students across a range of levels and abilities.
With a professional background as a Financial Director, combined with formal training in engineering and accounting, Anil brings a strong analytical foundation to his teaching. He specialises in IGCSE Mathematics (Edexcel 4MA1), supporting students across Grades 3–7, as well as those aiming for higher grades and Further Pure Mathematics (4PM1).
Anil also supports students taking IB Mathematics (AA and AI at SL level), helping them build understanding in algebra, functions, and calculus while developing confidence in applying concepts to exam-style questions.
His teaching approach focuses on clear, step-by-step explanations, strengthening problem-solving skills, and building exam confidence. He works closely with students to identify gaps, set realistic targets, and create structured plans for improvement.
His goal is not only to improve results, but to help students gain confidence, independence, and a more positive mindset towards mathematics.
Diana
Diana holds a BSc Economics degree from University College London (UCL), is a UK Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and a Certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Practitioner.
Diana is a native English speaker, she was born and raised in the UK, and has a Hong Kong heritage. She has experience working with children of all ages and has taught verbal English in Shanghai and Hong Kong, both in the classroom and as a private tutor. Known for her ability to develop students’ confidence in speaking English, Diana uses an informal teaching style to encourage students to practise speaking English in a non-judgmental environment. She believes the key to improving English fluency is practise and building confidence.
