Who We Are
Anil
Anil holds a B.S in engineering and an MBA, concentrated in accounting, from Hofstra University.
Anil is a native English speaker that has resided in Hong Kong for over 17 years. His passion for tutoring stemmed from teaching his children for over 15 years and has broadened to helping other students of various ages in Hong Kong.
From his experience as a financial director and from studying engineering and accounting - he has gained math skills both from the real world and his education. His teaching style and developed expertise will not only enhance students math skills and test scores but instill confidence and encouragement into them throughout the mentoring process. He believes that goal setting and planning ahead is key to paving the way to future success and is looking forward to working with students to make their individual targets possible.
Diana
Diana holds a BSc Economics degree from University College London (UCL), is a UK Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and a Certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Practitioner.
Diana is a native English speaker, she was born and raised in the UK, and has a Hong Kong heritage. She has experience working with children of all ages and has taught verbal English in Shanghai and Hong Kong, both in the classroom and as a private tutor. Known for her ability to develop students’ confidence in speaking English, Diana uses an informal teaching style to encourage students to practise speaking English in a non-judgmental environment. She believes the key to improving English fluency is practise and building confidence.
